Recovery Homes in Bradenton, FL
Courage to Change recovery homes (2’Cs Recovery) is an organization in Bradenton, FL, that provides safe and clean sober living, for men and women in recovery due to alcohol and drug addictions.
Residents of 2’Cs are required to go to 90 – 12 Step Meetings in 90 days. We believe participating in this 12-Step program is the catalyst to affecting lasting change in the lives of our Manatee County residents. Also, it is required to do assigned chores at the home.
These basics help the residents to rebuild self-esteem through accountability. Learning to become responsible individuals together, in a safe and drug free atmosphere, helps our clients live with integrity, self-worth, live productive and healthy lifestyles while rebuilding family ties.
During one of the darkest times of my life, Courage to Change saved me. They gave me a safe place to live and accountability, which was invaluable to my recovery. If it wasn’t for them, I don’t know where I’d be today!
About Us
Courage to Change was founded and created in 2011 by recovering addicts in Bradenton, who believe that an addict can best understand and help another addict to recover.
These founders of 2’Cs also went through the recovery and rehabilitation process. They have worked through their own struggles, and have achieved change and freedom that they were dedicated to obtain.
Now these people work towards sharing these experiences and hope to others who are seeking the path to change in Sarasota, Bradenton, Ellenton, Lakewood Ranch, Parrish, Palmetto and other areas close to the zip codes 34205 and 34207.
John Beeman, our Executive Director in Bradenton, works as the recovery homes advocate within the community.
John has been involved with the Manatee County court in an intervention program, helping the legal and therapeutic staff in assistance to place addicts into safe, drug free environments upon release from jail.
John personally speaks with each client at Courage To Change on a daily basis to help foster lines of communication with the recovery community. Building a personal relationship with the clients by sharing his experience, strength and hope often encourages the client to seek the right path through example.
John believes that everyone deserves a chance at living a healthy life and that the road to recovery starts by taking the first step.

Six years ago today you took me in directly from a meeting not knowing anything about who I was or what I was going through in life.
You and Charlie saved my life, today I get to be a mother to both my beautiful boys and live my life without the chains of addiction. You gave me that & I thank god for you everyday John!
